Our Vision

Core Purpose

Within a nurturing, Christian community we inspire lifelong learners and prepare them for a successful future.

Behaviour and Equalities Statement

The desire to develop and maintain good behaviour in the school, that is free from harassment and bullying, underpins our guiding principles.

We have therefore developed policies to ensure that procedures around the maintenance of behavioural standards are fair and consistently applied regardless of race, gender, sexuality, disability, religion, or cultural and linguistic. Similarly we enjoy a rich multicultural and multi-racial-diversity.

We have therefore ensured that through our curriculum and policies and procedures we provide equality of opportunity and fair treatment for all.

Our Guiding Principles

Every child is unique and made in the image of God; therefore we tailor our educational approaches to empower every child.

We build on children’s God-given curiosity and creativity to develop their ability to think for themselves.

We provide a rigorous, stimulating and disciplined teaching environment which ensures academic success.

We expect everyone in the Christ Church community: children, staff and parents, to be active participants in the journey of lifelong learning.

All God’s world is a classroom, therefore we make the most of diverse environments to provide excellent learning opportunities.

We insist on high standards of behaviour and teach children to take responsibility for their own actions.

We ensure that every child develops a sense of self and a respect for themselves and others to enable them to make their way successfully in a changing world.

We are committed to providing the children with a wide range of opportunities and experiences to challenge and test themselves.

We value our Church of England identity and draw on its rich traditions and heritage.  Click here to find out more about our Church.

We are committed to engaging with and contributing to our local community.
