Christ Church’s after school activities are available every day of the school year and are open to all pupils.

- After School Activities : 3:30pm – 4:30pm
- Snack for ‘After School Club’ pupils : 4:30pm
- After School Club : 4:30pm – 6:00pm
Our Lambeth after school programmes are in response to the needs of busy parents and carers who need a safe, friendly and creative environment with quality childcare for those extra few hours at the end of the school day.
We know how the average working day doesn’t fit with the school day – that’s why there’s nothing average about our after school sessions!
All children who come to Christ Church’s after school activities are encouraged to take part in a wide range of activities in a friendly, safe, sociable and welcoming environment.
Christ Church’s After School Activities and After School Club
At Christ Church you have the option of childcare from the end of the standard school day up until 6:00pm, and you can collect your child at any point during the after school programme.
We break this extended after school care into two sections:
- After School Activities from 3:30pm until 4:30pm
- After School Club from 4:30pm until last pick-up at 6:00pm
Christ Church’s After School Activities
At 3:30pm all children staying for any of the after school programme meet in the hall and we take a first register.
The activities that begin after the end of the school day offer a whole range of structured options for your child that are creative, stimulating and fun which take place both indoors and outside, weather permitting.
Activities are led by specialist tutors and our own staff.
Below is an example of the range of activities that are on offer as after school activities.
Your child is free to try any of the activities on offer and can take part in different activities on different days of the week.

All activities change on a term-by-term basis to ensure variety and exciting options for your children.
Christ Church’s After School Club
For those children staying longer, our After School Club operates once After School Activities have finished. After School Club runs from 4:30pm until 6:00pm every day, and includes a healthy nutritious snack for all the children.
All the children who are staying for After School Club at 4:30pm are subject to a further register. Then they’ll all have a snack before spending the rest of the session in free play indoors or outdoors, as a final chance to unwind.
All children must be collected by 6:00pm at the latest.
After school snacks at After School Club
All children who stay for After School Club are provided with a healthy and nutritious snack at 4:30pm.
We change the snack daily and you can see a sample weekly menu below:
Monday: Vol-au-vents with various fillings & Fruit.
Tuesday: Sandwiches with cheese/jam & Fruit.
Wednesday: Vegetables and dips & Fruit.
Thursday: Tomato pasta with cheese & Fruit.
Friday: Croissants with Jam & Fruit.
How does Christ Church’s After School Activities and After School Club work?
Christ Church’s after school activities are available every day or on a one-off basis. We do ask that you book in advance, but will do our best to accommodate last minute ‘on the day’ requests whenever possible.
You can choose just the After School Activities (until 4:30pm) or you can opt to add After School Club as well (until 6:00pm) and you can make payments as set out below.
Booking: You need to book and pay for After School Activities and After School Club in advance via Parent Pay.
Time: 3:30pm – 6:00pm
Costs: After School Activities (until 4:30pm) - £4.00 per day.
After School Activities plus After School Club (until 6:00pm) - £11.00 per day
All after school childcare fees can be paid via Parent Pay or with Childcare Vouchers.
Important: You can choose to have your child attend After School Activities on its own or add on After School Club.
All children must be collected by 6:00pm.
