Our wonderful school community, including our local MP Florence Eshalomi, turned out in force to help clear the forest area in preparation for the next developmental phase.
We are really lucky to have been awarded £35,000 to enhance our outdoor learning space through the 2021 Grow Back Greener Fund, co-funded by the Mayor of London and Thames Water. We are working in partnership with fathernature.org.uk to re-develop our forest area to include an outdoor classroom, a swampland area and a wildflower area. We will also be planting other woodland shrubs such as ferns and bracken and creating an area to build a den and a teepee. It's all very exciting!
