Personal, Social and Health Education (PSHE) prepares all pupils for the opportunities, responsibilities and experiences of life.
At Christ Church, we use Jigsaw resources to support our PSHE teaching and learning. This provides a mindful appraoch to PSHE with a progressive and spiral scheme of learning. Lesson planning ensures that learning from previous years is revisited and extended, adding new concepts, knowledge and skill, year on year as appropriate for the age of our pupils.
PSHE is a combination of a taught lesson and all the activities that contribute to pupils’ personal and social development, e.g. Health elements within science, class discussions, school council, community service and helping other children with their work and behaviour.
